Alive from Queens, IT'S SATURDAY NIGHT!!! Thank you for supporting queer women, trans, and nonbinary artists. All are welcome to attend, recommended for ages 18 and older.

Lavender Laughs NYC is every third Saturday of the month at Yant Art Space in Forest Hills.

Featuring Sophia Radix, Kim Villamera, Miles Chaney & Lena E. Hosted by local resident Nomie K. Baker

Tickets are $16, including fees, here on SimpleTix or $19 cash/Venmo at the door. Funds support the performers and Yant.

Each ticket includes one complimentary beverage (coffee, tea, lemonade). No alcohol or smoking on site for a sober safer space.

Yant is on the second floor and there is no elevator. There are gender-inclusive, single-stall restrooms.

Lavender Laughs NYC

Our mission is to empower LGBTQIA+ and women in comedy, arts and community. In an industry still heavily dominated by straight, white, cisgender men, we need opportunities created by and for us. We are not an LLC or nonprofit but rely on individual contributions.

In 2022, Lavender Laughs launched in New York City with shows and open mics. As of 2025, Lavender Laughs NYC operates in Manhattan and Queens. We have sibling organizations in Kitchener-Waterloo (Ontario, Canada) and Chicago, each produced independently.
