Start the night with Scary Movie, the return of the outrageous horror-spoof franchise that takes aim at scary movies, pop culture, and everything in between. With familiar faces back in the mix and a new round of ridiculous scares, it’s a wild way to kick off the evening.
Then, the night turns unsettling with Backrooms, the internet-born horror phenomenon about strange empty spaces, endless hallways, and the terrifying feeling that you’ve slipped somewhere you were never meant to be. Creepy, atmospheric, and built for the big screen, it’s the perfect late-night follow-up.
We’re open seven days a week. The ticket booth opens at 7 PM Monday through Thursday and 6 PM Friday through Sunday. Movies begin at dusk.

Blue Grass Drive-In Theater is the newest all-digital multi-screen drive-in theater in Iowa. We are open Fri-Sat-Sun during Spring, and Fall and we are open seven days a week in the fall. New movies are posted every Tuesday.
