Description
The Science of Bats’ describes our current knowledge these amazing animals and the many branches of science involved in their investigation. We are living in a golden age of discovery in which high tech solutions are being applied to researching these elusive and beneficial creatures. These methods include sound analysis, high-definition thermal imaging and identification based on molecular genetics.
The speaker, Nik Knight, is a retired zoologist who is the Chairman of the Hampshire Bat Group and the Hampshire County Bat Recorder.
