Description
Join us for a screening of Screams Before Silence, a 60-minute documentary led by Sheryl Sandberg, former COO of Meta and founder of LeanIn.org. The film reveals never-before-heard accounts from released hostages, survivors, and first responders about the October 7 attacks on Israeli towns and the Nova Music Festival. It highlights the sexual violence perpetrated against women and girls, as well as the silence and denial from international organizations and media despite indisputable evidence.
The evening will include a talkback with Eytan Schwartz, one of the film’s producers, in conversation with Ali Zelenko, SVP, External Affairs Strategy for ADL. In the aftermath of October 7, Eytan guided hundreds of foreign reporters through the Gaza envelope to expose the atrocities, an experience that inspired him to co-produce this vital documentary.
This is an important opportunity to confront the truth, hear survivors’ stories, and engage in meaningful dialogue.
