Get to the heart of your screenplay idea and leave with a strong elevator pitch in just one night. 18+

This one-night intensive workshop, led by Thiel College professor Matthew Humphrey, will assist both aspiring and emerging screenwriters in getting to the very core of their story. Through targeted discussions, practical exercises, and workshopping with peers, you will learn how to identify and succinctly describe the essential elements of a screenplay. Taking the next step, you will learn how to shape those elements into a compelling, pitch-ready logline.  Whether you are starting a fresh draft or refining an existing screenplay, you will walk away with more clarity on your narrative and a compelling pitch for your film. 

Participants are encouraged to arrive with at least a basic idea for a screenplay. Bringing a laptop is encouraged but not required.
