We’re back for our second annual Black History Month Club Night, and this year we’re doing it bigger and better. Hosted in collaboration with the York University Black Student Association (YUBSA), Lovers & Friends blends Valentine’s Day energy with Black pride, joy, and celebration. Whether you’re coming with your crew, meeting new friends, or finding a little romance 👀. This is the night to celebrate Black culture, music, and community.

Ticketing Instructions ❗PLEASE READ FIRST❗
There will be three separate ticket options
- York University students
- University of Toronto students
- Non-students (must be accompanied by a UofT or York student)
Guests who purchased an incorrect ticket or a not accompanied by a student of that university will be refused entry at the door.
No refunds will be issued.
UofT or York Students may purchase a plus-one ticket for a guest who does not attend either campus.

- Non-UofT / Non-York Ticket: $10
🔞 Event Information
- 18+ event
- Alcohol will not be sold or served to anyone under the legal drinking age
- A wristband system will be implemented to ensure alcohol policies are strictly enforced
- No booths or reserved seating will be sold — arrive early to secure seating
Code of Conduct
All attendees are expected to behave respectfully toward fellow guests, staff, performers, and venue employees. Harassment, discrimination, unsafe behavior, or failure to follow venue and event policies may result in removal without refund.
Property Damage & Accountability
Any individual found damaging, vandalizing, or misusing venue property will be held accountable. The respective student group representative (SCSU for UTSC students or YUBSA for York students) will take further action to ensure accountability, including financial responsibility for repairs and potential restrictions from future events.
Refund and Ticket Transfer Policy
- All ticket sales are final
- No refunds will be issued under any circumstances, including no-shows, late arrival, or incorrect ticket purchases
- No transfers allowed
