OMG it's a big 'ole summer Scuttlebutt, our monthly improv comedy show at The LaZoom Room! Inspired by guest storytellers and audience suggestions, the super talented and dynamic cast of Scuttlebutt players will create scenes poking fun at these damn day — and night — jobs of ours.
This month's guest storyteller is Stas Pantelopulos! Anastasios Pantelopulos, who goes by Stas for short, is excited to be a storyteller with Scuttlebutt. In 2000 he was the lead in his high school's musical, and now 24 years later he is emerging from the muck of that shitty one-time experience. Stas and his partner, Sarah Updegraff, are Playful Archetypes, a performing and visual arts exploration of Western Astrology. Their current offering is a monthly puppet show for children under 6 telling the story of the progression through the Zodiac. Stas also holds the stories of others in his work as a psychotherapist, the opposite side of the story telling spectrum.
