Mark your calendars! WWNO's award-winning podcast Sea Change live event is coming to the Broadside on the evening of August 12th. Join us for a reception beginning at 6 pm, followed by a panel discussion starting at 7 pm. This event will commemorate 20 years since Hurricane Katrina, with a focus on the future and possibilities for a thriving New Orleans and Gulf Coast, even as climate change makes us more vulnerable. Expect a fascinating conversation with guests, including Congressman Troy Carter.  Come be part of our studio audience for a live recording for broadcast!

Reception will be hosted at Nikkei Izakaya (restaurant at Broadside) at 6pm. Discussion to follow at 7pm.

  • The showtime listed for the event is the time the event starts. Doors will generally open an hour before the listed show time unless otherwise listed.
  • We allow pets during the day, but not at night for music (anything after 7pm). Service animals are always allowed
  •  Please do not park in the Broad Theater parking lot. We have a parking lot for The Broadside and plenty street parking available on Toulouse and Lafitte. If you would like to be escorted to your car, please ask the Sheriff on duty. You may also park in the Auto Zone parking lot if they are closed. 
  • Our outdoor space has a variety of seating options such as benches, picnic tables, chairs, and stools. If you require a seat for health reasons or disability, please ask a staff member and they can provide you with a chair.
