Description
This sweet community gathering is a way to celebrate the joys of vintage recipes while trying out a bunch of cookies together.
Please bring at least 1 dozen (more will absolutely be accepted) homemade cookies to share using a recipe from before the year 2000 (with no limit to how old the recipe is).
Whether you find one online or use one from a passed down family recipe your cookies will be so special and everyone will walk away with a box full of cookies, yum!
This years location is all indoors at a lovely vintage building in downtown Sacramento. Be ready for a friendly cookie contest with one first place prize! All participants will vote and the results will be announced towards the end of the gathering!
Special shout out to:
Becca (@beccareports) who will be gracing us with live festive tunes from 3-4pm
Lysa (@likeyagrannies) who will be popping up with delicious hot beverages (coffee/cocoa) for sale
Lily (@1lybean) who is going to be taking photography throughout the event so dress up in your best fun winter attire!
Things to Note:
-Children are welcome (free attendance for anyone under 18)
-No pets please
-There is street parking near the venue
-Top allergens will be noted near each cookie but because of the nature of the event they will be present
-Please write the cookie name / top allergens / your name on a paper next to your cookie
-Reminder that this is not a store bought cookie event but a make at home from a vintage recipe event ;-)
