Share UPSTATE TECHNO is is a loose collective of techno lovers and creators throughout upstate New York. Based currently in the Hudson Valley region, our goal is to bring underground and aboveground events to a wider audience while building a network of people who love this unmistakable style of dance music.
Description
Come to Kingston's most mysterious underground party spot for a late night of techno and melodic techno. Because of COVID limitations, this event is capped at 40 tickets. Arrive early to appreciate the portal of space and experience the unique contours of the venue. Stay late to soak in the vibrations. Music runs from approximately 9pm to 3am (and probably later), starting with high energy techno tracks and gradually stepping down into more and more ethereal territory.

Address will be shared after ticket purchase and will be shared via text message shortly before the event (so please include a phone number where you can be reached). Venue is in midtown Kingston.
Out of respect for the neighbors, please avoid parking right in front of the venue. Also, please limit noise in front of the venue. A smoking area will be available on the roof. In general, please respect the sacred container that allows us to all come together and appreciate each other and the haunting powerful sound of techno music.

Kuryente is the techno alias of sound designer, experimental filmmaker and media professor Mark Carrenceja.
Lunar // TECHNO // LISTEN
As the melodic techno and techno identity of artist Tola Brennan, Lunar is a vehicle to share the wonder, energy and sensual journeys of body and consciousness that emerge from sustained dwelling in the dance music vortex. Drawing upon labels like Afterlife, Terminal M, Eleatics and Drumcode, Lunar is an amalgam of currents in the melodic techno and techno sound realm that assist a voyage into the reaches of inner and outer space, an emotional yet gentle embrace of the feelings and sensations that emerge from bodies in motion.
Dan Dillon // MINIMAL // LISTEN
Daniel Stevens is an electronic artist from the Hudson Valley NY. He creates all original minimal techno, opting for analog synth and drum gear instead of computers for a unique live and sonic experience. His music is moody and cathartic, dark and beautiful, and often improvised in order to create completely in the moment performances.
ANNA SKYY // MELODIC // LISTEN
ANNA SKYY is an up and coming DJ of the Hudson Valley techno scene with a hypnotic and funky sound. Blending her favorite styles of melodic tech and organic house from her Greek and middle Eastern roots, she never strays too far from a deep tech drum bass line to get your feet moving. This event will be her debut live performance.
