Description
Learn from our 12 years' experience growing lavender.
Growing lavender is a practice in patience. A slow process, that takes care and attentiveness. It is not for everyone, it is challenging, but for those who take the time it is very rewarding! Grown as an ornamental, to keep mosquitoes away, as a part of your kitchen garden, or for medicinal use or crafts, there are a wide range of reasons to grow lavender.
This class covers a lot of ground quickly, participants are encouraged to bring pictures of existing lavender plants, their yard, and where they would like to plant.
We teach lavender propagation! Methods that can also be used on other plants.
This is a private chance to visit the farm during hours we are closed to the public, class participants receive 10% off products on class day.
Masks are requested for this event because we are seated close together.
