Spend a spellbinding afternoon learning from a master about wine and food pairings, what makes a wine a winner, and what it takes to become a professional sommelier. He will pour and explore extraordinary wines he has hand-selected from some of the best wine regions in the world. You don’t want to miss this very special event as he uncorks his cellar of wine secrets!
About JASON TESAURO, SOMMELIER
By day, Tesauro is a writer/photojournalist with two passports, three books, four cameras, and five children. Author of The MODERN GENTLEMAN book series, he’s a three-time national award-winning culture and lifestyle journalist for Esquire, Decanter, Travel+Leisure, The New York Times, and others. By night, Tesauro is an internationally-accomplished sommelier who has visited twenty countries and served as an ambassador for Virginia Wine since falling in love with a 1998 Barboursville Vineyards Sangiovese Reserve. He lives in Richmond, Virginia, where he’s constantly tinkering with Chartreuse cocktail recipes and restocking the Crisp Whites section of his cellar.
