Join us for a sweet and creative watercolor experience celebrating connection, creativity, and one of our favorite blooms — the Black-Eyed Susan. Seeds of Friendship is a beginner-friendly watercolor workshop led by artist Deborah Fitzhugh, perfect for anyone curious about watercolor or looking to build confidence with the medium.
This hands-on class begins with Watercolors 101, where you’ll learn about the different types of watercolor paper, brushes, and paints, plus essential techniques to get you started. After practicing, you’ll paint a charming field of Black-Eyed Susans on a handmade seed packet and embellish a matching envelope with floral details.
You’ll fill your seed packet with seeds, add a seal featuring a pressed flower, and create a heartfelt, hand-painted gift ready to mail or share with a friend.
All paints, brushes, and materials needed to create the seed packet and envelope are provided. Guests are welcome to bring their own watercolor supplies if they prefer.
Come paint, learn, and create something meaningful to send out into the world 🌼
