Description:
You're invited to the Self-Tie Jam, a monthly rope jam for self-tying & self-suspension hosted by Parker at Coil & Cord Studio in Brooklyn.
Experiment with ideas, practice techniques, exchange tips and tricks, and connect with other self-tying enthusiasts.
Whether you’re working on self ties on the ground, venturing into self-suspension, or expanding what you can do in the air, this jam is a supportive environment for curiosity, exploration, growth, and community.
Coil & Cord Studio has numerous hard points (including bamboo & single points) available for self-suspension, plus plenty of cozy mats for floor tying.
Spotting one another during self-suspension is strongly encouraged. Event host will be available to monitor for safety and provide intervention if requested or in an emergency.

All levels of self-tying experience, including absolute beginners, are warmly welcome!
Self-Tying Only: This is a self-tying-only event. No partnered tying at this event, please!
What to Bring: Please bring rope & a cutting tool if you have them, and any suspension gear you need if you plan to suspend.
Some nylon rope will be available to borrow. Jute & POSH are available for purchase.
