The day begins with check-in at 8:30 a.m. in the church lobby, followed by Mass celebrated by Bishop Carl Kemme at 9:15 a.m. Beginning the day with the Eucharist reminds us that Christ is at the center of our lives and our mission, no matter our age.
Following Mass, Father Jarrod Lies will present a talk on "Evangelizing in the Later Years," offering encouragement and practical ways for seniors to continue sharing the joy of the Gospel with family, friends, and their communities.
Attendees will then have an opportunity to visit with a variety of vendors in the conference room before hearing from Cady Macfee of T-Mobile, who will present an informative session on cybersecurity. As technology becomes an increasingly important part of daily life, this presentation will provide helpful tips for staying safe online and protecting personal information.
A delicious lunch, catered by Fence Post of Harper, Kansas, will be served, providing additional time to enjoy fellowship and visit with exhibitors.
The afternoon concludes with a special presentation by Father John Lanzrath, who will share stories and reflections from his time serving alongside St. Teresa of Calcutta (Mother Teresa) in India. His firsthand experiences promise to inspire attendees with powerful examples of faith, humility, and service.
The symposium will close in the church with the beautiful prayer of the Divine Mercy Chaplet, sending participants home renewed in faith and hope.
