Share Thank you for visiting the Shafter Ford Theater website! We are honored to have you. A little bit about us: we are a small town theater arts building in Shafter, CA. We host concerts, musicals, plays, business meetings, banquets and more! Our building holds about 300 people, which creates a very intimate setting for performances. In our six years of being open, we have been lucky enough to host many amazing musicians, such as Jon Foreman, Danny Gokey, Jars of Clay, and many more. We are home to the Shafter Children's Summer Theater and the Shafter Young Adult's Theater, run by Cris Starrh. We have held 6 of Larry Starrh's original musicals. In addition, we've hosted many business events, weddings, proms, bridal showers, and birthday parties. We are so thankful to the citizens of Shafter for their continued support and we hope you will consider us when searching for a fun place to stop in Shafter!
Description
Don your fanciest attire and set sail aboard the Anna Belle for an evening of mystery and suspension and join us for a Disaster Murder Mystery Dinner. No matter what or who it may be you wont want to miss this great time of fun and laughter as we enjoy the live musical entertainment of the Castaway band and the laughter of each character throughout the night. Dinner will be provided for each guest as we try to navigate the ultimate question of, WhoDunit!
Proceeds from this event are going to the Shafter Family Theater, a non-profit foundation which includes:
Shafter Children's Summer Theater, 3rd Grade - incoming 8th Graders
Shafter young Adults Theater, Incoming Freshmen - Adults
Shafter Rising Starrh's, a program designed for K-2nd grade students.
All proceeds help show cost to start and run the shows, 4 in total for 2023, and allow us to host other events in the community for the fine arts. Proceeds for this event can be considered a tax write-off and receipt is available upon request.
