What is a Respite Companion Caregiver? A person trained to give planned or emergency care to a child or adult with a special need, in order to provide temporary relief to the family caregiver of that individual.

Why train for Respite Companion Care? Learn the necessary techniques and skills for safe, effective caregiving. Understand best practices and develop the confidence needed to offer respite and relief to families of people with special needs.

REST (Respite Education and Support Tools) is integrated into Set to Serve: Respite and Companion Care and offers continuing options for certification and advanced training.

Workshop includes:  In person training - Faith-based applications - Multiple disability scenarios

Free will offering collected at workshop - Suggested donation: $5 per participant - Includes participant guide & lunch
