Description
What to expect:
Seussical will be a 3 month time commitment and auditions are open to anyone aged 8 year and older. Rehearsals will be held Monday-Thursday 6-9pm at our rehearsal space 719 S Johns Ave Emmett. Ensemble characters will likely only be needed 3 nights a week initially. Performances will be April 2nd, 3rd and 4th. While 4 excused absences will be allowed, we're looking for cast members who are committed to this show. All cast members will be required to attend all rehearsals/performances from March 22nd-April 3rd.
There is no fee to participate in this production, however, we ask for a contribution of around $30-$50 per cast member to help cover costs. Inability to contribute will not prevent you from participating. There will also be opportunities to help with fundraisers.

Please come prepared sing a song and perform a short dance combination. We will teach the dance combo. Please prepare 1 minute of a song that shows your range.
Callbacks will be held Saturday January 9th in the afternoon/evening and possibly Sunday the 10th if needed. We will let you know at your audition if we'd like to you to join us for callbacks and will provide the callback materials at that time.
Casting decisions will be sent out via text by Monday the 11th. A cast list will then be posted on our social media accounts by Tuesday the 12th.

Video Auditions:
We would prefer to see you in person! But if this isn't possible, please submit a video audition no later than Thursday January 7th. Your video should be filmed from head to toe in natural lighting. Please sing 1 minute of a song that shows your range and be sure to show us your acting abilities while you sing. Email your audition to emmettcommunityplayhouse@gmail.com and make sure you've also submitted your audition form.
