Get ready to thread your creativity in this beginner-friendly sewing workshop where you’ll make your very own library tote! Perfect for middle school ages and up (adults encouraged, too!), this class will teach the basics of machine sewing—from threading and stitching straight lines to finishing seams neatly. Participants will choose from a selection of fun fabrics and learn how to assemble a simple, sturdy tote that’s perfect for carrying books, art supplies, or everyday essentials.
This workshop is a great way to build confidence behind a sewing machine while creating something practical and personal. Whether you’re brand-new to sewing or just looking for a relaxing, creative afternoon, you’ll leave with new skills, a finished bag, and the satisfaction of saying, “I made this myself!”
