Description
Three local artists come together for a night celebrating some of the 518’s distinctive voices in original music, storytelling, and song. Shannon Tehya brings groovy, soul-infused pop and fantastical storytelling; Troy-based Julia Alsarraf moves across singer-songwriter styles and genres with songs centered on belonging and connection; and Girl Love, the solo folk project of Laura Beth Johnson, offers heartfelt folk exploring queer holiness and the reclamation of self and faith. Each artist will share songs from their own catalog while also “swapping songs” to perform one another’s work, weaving their individual styles into a collaborative evening of earnest storytelling, sweet exchanges, and banter between friends. Presented by New Breath Spirituality and Collar City Pride.
