This event will take place at the serene and tranquil Healing Cottage in Middletown, Delaware, a place that promises an ambiance conducive to healing and rejuvenation.
Event Details
The SHIFT Somatic Healing Sessions 2025 is an immersive experience that combines the power of somatic healing with the restorative potential of embodied wellness with meditation and movement. These sessions are designed to re-energize yourself- mind, body, spirit, and energy. This healing session is designed to help you to release emotional blocks, self-sabotaging thinking, and disrupt the cycle of perpetual exhaustion that often manifest as irritable or anxious moods, decreased libido, chronic illness, or stress-related disorders.
The trauma-informed facilitator, Queen, will guide you through a series of somatic exercises like guided meditation, stress-release and restorative movements like EFT Tapping and stretching, with integrative self-reflection journaling practice & interactive discussions, helping you to recover the energy and innate healing capabilities of your mind, body, spirit, and energy. This 2-hour session aims to instill in you a greater sense of peace, rest, and wellbeing, empowering you to lead a healthier, happier, even sexier life.
No prior experience in somatic practices is required. This event centers the healing of Black LBGTQ folks and Black women & is open to all genders and all bodies over the age of 18.
