Description

Lift Bridge Silhouette is brewed in the style of an Imperial Stout and aged in Bourbon Barrels for up to 4 years. Aromas of coffee, molasses, chocolate, and vanilla meld with an intense dark roasted character. This beer is complex, rich and full bodied and will warm the senses, illuminate the soul, and grow into an annual favorite...no matter what season. This year, in addition to our traditional release, we are excited to offer 3 variants carefully curated to enhance the flavors and experience of one of our most prized offerings. We're bringing back last year's favorite variant vanilla bean, but this year we doubled up on the bourbon-soaked vanilla which takes the beer to a whole new level. New to the party this year is coffee Silhouette, made with locally roasted coffee from our friends at Big Watt beverage. Dark roasted Central and South American coffee add a new layer of complexity and flavor and prove that 11% stouts are acceptable breakfast beverages. Lastly, we partnered with our next door neighbors in New Richmond, 45th Parallel Distillery to produce our first ever "double barreled" version of Silhouette. We pulled beer already aged for 16 months in Heaven Hill bourbon barrels and then laid it to rest in freshly dumped 45th Parallel Rye Whiskey barrels. All variant options are sold paired with a bottle of original barrel-aged Silhouette (limit 1), or original bottles can be purchased on their own (limit 2). All pre-sold bottles can be picked up beginning Saturday, January 15th at our Stillwater location and Lift Bridge will pay the event ticketing fees when you pre-order. Bottles are very limited this year but any that remain after pre-sales will be on sale in both taprooms beginning 1/15 at open.
