Description
SATURDAY 3/7 2-4pm SILK POLE
Join our Charity Social Workshop where you will explore various combos utilizing the silk on the pole in a small community format. This will be newbie and intro level friendly or leveled up for those with pole/silks experience. I fell in love with silk pole two years ago and continued throughout my entire pregnancy, postpartum and now.
100% funds are going to CHIRLA (@chirla_org) or a charity fund of your choosing (please let me know). In my freedom to express my movement, I would love to teach others in this expression as well as humbly contribute to a social need, that is related to me personally and professionally. I chose CHIRLA.org to help provide comprehensive legal services to advocate for the immigrant community. They are a trusted organization that is transparent of their use of funds. I speak as a daughter of immigrants and also as a university psychology professor who teaches students about diversity dynamics and systems of oppression. The purpose is to promote human rights for all.
If you can’t make the workshop but would like to CONTRIBUTE any amount, please DM for more information! DONORS are greatly appreciated! 💓
