SIMI Film Fest Presents: The Film Music Concert: Doors & Red Carpet 6:45pm Concert Starts 7:30pm

Experience the magic of the movies like never before in this special evening of live symphonic music, celebrating the emotional power and unforgettable melodies of film under the direction of World Soundtrack Award winning composer and conductor, Joseph Metcalfe.

Join us for the debut performance of the all-new Simi Valley Symphony Orchestra, featuring a thrilling program of music from award-winning films, cinematic favorites and a couple of soundtracks from this year's fest — performed live in concert. The 90 minutes concert includes suites from Forrest Gump, Gladiator, Schindler's List, Sound Of Music and more... as well as a very unique performance of music from the video game Mario + Rabbids by World renown video game and film composer, Grant Kirkhope, who will be in attendance. We will also be featuring scores from selected festival films — giving you a rare opportunity to hear their work performed live by a symphony orchestra. These scores include this year’s Best Score nominees Forrest Gray (Stone Garden) and Greg Nicolett (Ripple).
