Singing our Way Home: A Rising Song Faculty Concert

Chana Raskin

Chana Raskin, founder and facilitator of RAZA, grew up entrenched in the world of Chabad Hasidut and its tradition of nigunim - sacred melodies. Her debut album KAPELYA was released by Rising Song Records in February 2023, followed by sold-out concerts in NYC, Jerusalem and Los Angeles. Chana leads RAZA circles—meditative nigun deep dives—for diverse communities around the world. Both in her music and song circles, and especially in her one-on-one sessions, Chana strives to hold a space with others recovering from illness or traumatic injury, or simply seeking Home. She revels in the healing powers of quiet, laughter, humming and movement, and resides in the Blue Ridge Mountains with her family.

Dov Rosenblatt

Dov Rosenblatt is a singer-songwriter, educator, prayer leader, and founder of To Feel Alive, a collaborative songwriting initiative that helps individuals and communities transform their stories into songs. With over two decades of experience in Jewish education, Dov has taught in day schools, camps, synagogues, and retreat settings across North America. The co-founder of the bands Blue Fringe and Distant Cousins, Dov’s music has been featured in films & television, as well as widely on tour. Dov recently completed three years as Cantor-in-Residence at Congregation Sherith Israel in Nashville and now lives in Atlanta with his wife and their five children. He is a frequent facilitator at Jewish communal gatherings including Sukkahfest at Pearlstone Center and Limmudfest at Ramah Darom.

Rabbi Deborah Sacks Mintz

An educator and practitioner of Jewish communal music, Rabbi Deborah Sacks Mintz supports those who seek a deepened practice of empowered prayer and song. A celebrated composer, vocalist, and multi-instrumentalist, Deborah has collaborated on over two dozen records with a diverse array of voices in the Jewish soundscape, including her own albums: The Narrow and the Expanse(2020) Yetzira (2023) and Songs from the Beit Midrash (2026). Eitan Kantor

Eitan Kantor is a musician, organizer, and composer based in Colorado. Through musical creation, he works to inspire social action rooted in Jewish values. Eitan is the Music Director of the Hebrew Educational Alliance, a Conservative synagogue in Denver. Eitan sings and fiddles with the dance band Upsherin, and is a co-organizer of Denver’s monthly Klezmer and Balkan concert and jam session, Festo! Festo! Eitan participated in Hadar’s Rising Song Residency, and has served on the faculty of HRSI. Eitan will be releasing his first full-length album of Jewish music in late 2026.
