The Young Professionals Choral Collective, in partnership with Pones Dance Company, presents Sinners and Saints, a musical and visual program that turns the seven deadly sins on their heads with both humor and seduction.

“To err is human - but it feels divine.” - Mae West

Sinners and Saints - A look inside the artistic vision

This program opens with a tongue-in-cheek look at what is conceived of as sin: greed, pride, wrath, envy, lust, gluttony and sloth. The show starts with "greed" and "Money Makes the World Go Around" from Cabaret, with dancers performing choreography inspired by Bob Fosse. The balancing point of the show explores the yin and yang of temptation with the Indonesian folk song Hela Rotan. The second half of the show explores these concepts in the light: charity, self-confidence, justice, ambition, love, body positivity and rest.

$50 VIP ticket with guaranteed premium seating and a drink (including tip!)

Featuring Special Guest  ASL Performance Interpreter  Arriana Bedgood!  Arriana has complete hearing loss in her left ear (cochlear implant) and has severe hearing loss in her right (digital hearing aid). American Sign Language is her first language, and English is her second. She has always loved music - feeling the beats inside of her soul... it has always made her want to move something!  She thinks music can heal the world. She loves to sing and dance.

Arriana's favorite thing is Performance Interpreting. Eight years ago, she had the honor of being the lead choir singer in a gospel song while filming an ASL music video (You Brought The Sunshine by The Clark Sisters) for D-PAN (Deaf Professional Arts Network) featuring Selected of God choir made famous by the Chrysler ads and Deaf Dynamic Praise choir at the Historic Little Rock Baptist Church in Detroit. Arriana has since worked for the University of Cincinnati as an instructor for the ASL/Deaf Studies Program. She is also Program Coordinator for the ASL/Deaf Studies program at UC.
