Description

Sips & Stars at the Robert Ferguson Observatory ~ an evening of fine wine and cosmic wonder.

Join us for a magical night under the stars at the observatory! Our Sips & Stars event blends the beauty of the night sky with the elegance of Sonoma County wine. Enjoy a curated tasting experience hosted by Landmark Vineyards, known for their exceptional Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, while taking in breathtaking views of the cosmos through our powerful telescopes.

As twilight falls, relax with a glass of wine in hand and listen to engaging astronomy talks from our knowledgeable docents. Once darkness settles, step up to the observatory’s telescopes for guided viewing of planets, star clusters, and distant galaxies.

Whether you’re a wine lover, stargazer, or simply looking for a unique evening out in Sonoma Valley, Sips & Stars promises an unforgettable experience where earthly pleasures meet celestial beauty.

Guests must be 21 or older to attend and each registration includes two drink tickets. Proceeds support the Robert Ferguson Observatory’s public education programs.

$60.00 per adult, $55.00 for seniors (62+), and $48 for members. Cost includes the Sugarloaf Ridge State Park parking fee.

You MUST have a ticket to attend this event.  Attendance is limited. Please note that tickets are non-refundable and cannot be used for future events.

RFO is operated by the Valley of the Moon Observatory Association, a 501(3)(c) nonprofit organization, and all of the proceeds will go towards maintaining this beloved Sonoma county institution.
