Description
The long tail cast-on is often the first cast-on knitters learn today, but this classic technique can present a few challenges, even to an experienced knitter. How do I estimate my tail properly? How do I keep the cast on from becoming too tight or too loose? In this Skill Sunday session, we will explore a variety of tricks to keep your cast-on under control, and make sure your tail is never too short again!
Materials: Students should bring a small selection of yarns ready to cast on with, as well as appropriately sized knitting needles.
