Description
When you purchase a camp site you will receive a purchase confirmation with a code. Please print it out or have it on your phone so it can be scanned when you arrive. Within a few days of your purchase you will also receive a welcome email from us along with a questionnaire. Please direct any questions regarding this event to info@theskylinedrivein.com.
What is included with the event:
This event is primitive camping (no showers, hook ups or dump station).
Eclipse viewing glasses will be provided to everyone.
Your ticket is for the reserved campsite of the size indicated. No additional space will be available. If you have a tow behind your vehicle must fit within your campsite or you can park it in our designated additional parking area. There is not a limit to the amount of people at the campsite but they must all check in with our ticket booth to receive a badge (everyone needs a badge to get back in if they leave. All RV's and campers will also receive a badge to indicate your campsite number. You will receive all badges and a welcome package when you arrive.
We will be showing classic films every night (Friday-Monday) of the event. The movies are included with your campsite. Movies are: Friday: Close Encounters of the Third Kind & The Fifth Element Saturday: Back to the Future, Men in Black & Terminator 2 Sunday: E.T., Mars Attacks & Pitch Black Monday: Warning From Space & 20 Million Miles To Earth.
There will also be various entertainment throughout the event during daylight hours.
We have both indoor and outdoor restrooms
Our Skyline Cafe offers a full menu for breakfast, lunch and dinner. It will be open 24 hours a day during the event.
We have a retro arcade, The Skycade that will be open for the duration of the event. The games take quarters and there is a change machine inside the arcade.
What is not included
Showers, hook ups for RV's and campers and a dump station
Tips and rules
You may leave the property at anytime during the weekend but remember you must show your badge at the ticket office when you return.
- Outside food and drinks are discouraged. The movie studios take the majority of admission sales, so the concession stand is what keeps the drive in alive. Outside food deliveries to campsites are not allowed.
- We have online ordering of food if you would like to avoid waiting in line. It can be picked up at our pick up window once you have been notified or delivered to your campsite.
- The only way to hear the movie is through FM radio (89.9), we suggest bringing a portable radio. We also have radios for rent: $3/night.
- No refunds will be given
- Hatches must be closed or lowered to roof level during movies– visit the Twinelight Zone at the Skyline Cafe for twine
- We reserve the right to designate where vehicles park
- Watch your speed – there are little ones running around
- Check in time is between the hours of noon & 7pm on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
- At least one person at the campsite must be 18 years old or older
- Lawn chairs & blankets should be placed within your campsite
- No sitting on the roof of vehicles
- No open flames, grills, fires, fireworks or glass containers.
- Pets are always welcome but must be kept on a leash and cleaned up after. Pets cannot be left unattended. Pets cannot be aggressive or loud.
- Please help keep theater clean by throwing trash into one of our trash cans
- Shoes are to be worn at all times, you never know what folks toss on the ground
- We do not have a dump station and ask that you do not empty tanks on our property
