In celebration of the re birth of Spring, the fire festival of the feast of torches we are making Slavic Motanka dolls!
Akin to the brighid doll made at Imbolc, in a ritual setting you will be learning how to make an enchanted doll talisman to guard against illness, bring healing, happiness, and good luck, and protect your home, she is a spiritual helper.
Learn about the folklore associated with making a cloth doll talisman.
Celebrate the coming of spring and recovery of the Earth Goddess after giving birth to the Sun God at Yule with this workshop.
Most supplies included, but to add a personal and spiritual touch please bring natural fibre cloth, napkins, ribbon, hair, charms, or anything else you would like to stuff into and decorate your doll with.
