Description

Enjoy a leisure paddle through two historic mill towns where you may see blue herons, osprey, turtles, fish and other creatures who call this area home through forested shoreline . This 1.5-mile stretch of water may take 1-1.5 hours from the McAdenville South Fork Greenway and Blueway Launch to the Centennial Launch in Cramerton. A 10-minute shuttle will bring you back to McAdenville after your trip or after you enjoy downtown Cramerton. You have the option to add on an on-water kayak guide to provide information about the area and advance your paddling skills in addition to the safety and paddling basics talk you will receive on land before getting onto the water.

The fee includes a single or tandem kayak, paddle, PFD (Personal Floatation Device) and safety and basic paddling instruction on land with the option to add on an on-water kayak guide. Guests should dress comfortably in clothes that can get wet. Shoes with a heel strap, a reusable water bottle, sunscreen, a dry bag, and snacks are encouraged.
