Description

Cullipher Farm has 6 ½ acres of Upick strawberries from mid-April through May available for field trips. Each participant will pick 1 pint of strawberries. Please note the minimum charge for any group will be $125.00.

Cullipher Farm offers seasonal field trips that meet age-appropriate SOL goals. The participants will rotate through 3 areas: 1) lesson on the life cycle and fun facts of the UPick item, 2) Upick of the current seasonal fruit and 3) a wagon ride around our 250 acre working farm of orchards, crops, cattle and vineyard. 

Nicole Topping, our Director of Education. who has her Master's in Education degree leads the educational program. There will also be other Cullipher staff available to assist depending on the size of the group.

Included amenities to groups visiting the farm: 1) A one acre fenced in play area; 2) 11 picnic tables available for use for snacks or lunches; 3) Two enclosed bathrooms (both 8X8) and outside portable toilets which are cleaned twice weekly; and 4) plenty of free parking. 

Prices: $8.50 per person – no age limit. Payment by cash or credit card is expected at the end of the visit (less applicable deposit) based on the actual number of participants unless prior arrangements are made. Please email or submit a tax exemption certificate for the school visiting before or during first visit of calendar. Receipts will be emailed or mailed upon request within 24 hours of the visit.
