The mission of Ice Dance International is to create classical and contemporary ice ballet with a professional company. IDI serves to educate and inspire by providing mentorship, creative opportunities, collaboration, teaching, and performance.
Description
SOAR! Is an uplifting and joyful ice show. Prepare to be immersed in a theatrical skating experience featuring Olympic Champion Gabriella Papadakis. The cast of 10 world class figure skaters take the audience on an expressive journey of artistry and athleticism connecting with each other and audiences through the flight and flow of theatrical ensemble skating. The show continues to build a bridge from sport to art and pushes the boundaries of dance on ice. The tour will feature work from the world’s best skating and dance choreographers and a cast that includes 2 time US Champion Alissa Czisny, Rohene Ward, Kseniya Ponomaryova and Collin Brubaker, Oona and Gage Brown, JS Legare, Ryan Dunk, and Karina Manta with Choreography by Benoit Richaud, Cindy Stuart, Rohene Ward, Douglas Webster and from the world of ballet, Garrett Smith and Edward Villella.
SOAR will include work by Fox Valley Ice Arena and Teams Fox choreographer, Alina Ponomarova
