Want to knit socks, but you've heard horror stories about knitting heels? This class is for you!
We'll start with an already knitted cuff and leg, so you can focus on knitting a gusset heel. Just come to class, and you'll get a pre-knitted cuff and leg on the needles, ready to have a heel added!
Cagle will teach using double-pointed needles, but you can use any knitting-in-the-round technique you like.
Required skills: knit stitch, purl stitch. You do not have to have prior experience knitting in the round.
Materials: Double-pointed needles, yarn, and stitch markers will be provided. You are welcome to bring your own needles and stitch markers.
NOTE: If you want to pick your own yarn as well, you can knit your own cuff and leg in advance (knit the Favorite Vanilla Socks pattern up to the Heel Flap section).
