sold out-Mid-fire wheel-throwing

In this six week class we'll use Standard Hazelnut Cone 6 clay and a variety of glaze techniques. The first 3 weeks will be throwing and specific clean up protocols for working with this new clay. Students will make 6 to 7 pieces (emphasis on bowls and serving dishes to show off the glaze.) Then we'll explore mid-fire glaze applications including the "frozen pond" technique, Northern Lights, and access to many other glazes.

Week 1-3 throwing and clean up

Week 4 trim (last day for greenware)

Week 5 & 6 new glaze techniques.
