El Museo del Barrio presents Something Beautiful: Reframing La Colección, the museum’s most ambitious presentation of its unique, complex, and culturally diverse Permanent Collection in over two decades. Organized by Rodrigo Moura, Chief Curator, Susanna V. Temkin, Curator, and Lee Sessions, Permanent Collection Associate Curator, the nearly year-long exhibition highlights over 500 artworks, including new acquisitions and commissioned works, presented through two rotating displays divided into thematic sections. BEFORE YOU ARRIVE

DURING YOUR VISIT
Vaccination NOT required. El Museo is no longer requiring proof of vaccination and ID to access the Museum spaces.
Face coverings are strongly recommended. All visitors over the age of two are strongly advised to wear face coverings throughout their visit in Museum spaces, including Las Galerías, El Teatro, and El Cafe.
Security. All visitors must pass through a security check (metal detectors and x-ray scanning). Please anticipate lines at the entrances. Weapons and hazardous materials are not allowed.
Maintain physical distancing. Visitors should stay at least six feet (about two arms’ length) from others and groups.
Please follow directions from El Museo staff. Visitor capacity is controlled and reduced in Museum galleries.
GENERAL INFORMATION
Hours. El Museo del Barrio’s Galleries are open Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 11am to 5pm.
Timed Tickets. We strongly recommend purchasing tickets online in advance.
Tourism Partners. For City Pass or New York Pass holders, please email emdbtickets@elmuseo.org to reserve your timed ticket.
Community Partners. For local and family organizations (i.e. Cool Culture) in partnership with El Museo, please refer to an email received from El Museo with your assigned discount code to be entered when reserving your ticket. For information, please email emdbtickets@elmuseo.org.
El Museo Amenities. The Coat Check is now open, and El Café remains closed.
EL MUSEO DEL BARRIO MEMBERS
All El Museo individual and corporate members receive free admission. Current Members will receive an email from our membership office with a discount code to be entered when reserving your ticket. Walk-ins (non-timed ticket holders) will be granted admission based on availability. For more information on membership, email members@elmuseo.org.
