Songwriters at Stone Meadow: A Day Retreat with Christa Wells
A day to write, connect, and be heard.
You've got songs in you, and they're dying to be written. You just need to put yourself in the way of inspiration and collaboration! Join us at Stone Meadow for an unhurried day retreat designed for songwriters who are ready to go deeper into the craft, into collaboration and into genuine community.
We'll open the day with coffee and conversation at 10am, easing into a co-write session at 11am. If you haven't had the chance to experience a lot of cowriting, it is one of the best ways to grow as a songwriter (whether or not you love the songs you write!).
After a shared lunch at 2pm (because good songs and good food go together), we'll enjoy an open hour for you to enjoy the beauty of Stone Meadow however you like — walk the trails, strum your guitar by the creek, or claim the hammock for a short nap. We have nearly 70 acres ready to be explored!
We'll come back together from 4-5:30pm to hear your newly cowritten songs plus a solo song from each artist (not required but welcomed!). If you share a song in progress and desire feedback, the group will offer that.
This will be a beautifully generous space to share your voice & witness the voices of new friends.
This retreat is for you if you've written a handful of songs (or more), had a few people really listen to them and are eager to keep going. Whether you're looking for stronger co-writing skills, a wider creative network or just a day to give your inner artist some much-needed time and attention, this day is for you.
Coffee, sparkling waters, lunch, and snacks are all included, along with use of the Stone Meadow property.
Space is limited. Come ready to write!
