Description

Come out to Sonoma Garden Park(19996 7th street east, Sonoma) on Sunday, March 20th, and signup for your time slot between 12:00-3:00 pm to scoop up a load of finished compost for your home garden, free of charge! The compost is being provided as part of a county-wide program through Zero Waste Sonoma and Napa Recycling. Please bring your own containers such as bags, buckets, or a tarp, and be prepared to load the compost into your vehicle yourself. Maximum 1/2 yard per vehicle. We will have staff available to provide shovels and other tools as needed. In an effort to reduce traffic congestion we require that you signup for a timeslot ahead of time and show us your ticket upon entry. Walk-ins will be turned away. 

Note that we will be holding a composting educational workshop on the morning of March 20th. All attendees will receive priority access to the compost giveaway after the event.
