The Philippines has been waging a decades long revolution against the Filipino ruling class and US imperialism. Overseas Filipino activists and solidarity allies have been fighting and WINNING struggles for the people here. This has looked like freeing Filipinos and other migrants from ICE detention, growing solidarity with striking workers, organizing workplaces, and bringing more and more people into a strong anti-imperialist pro-people movement! We are planning to send 30 plus organizers from Washington to ICHRP’s global assembly to strategize with and learn from other organizers around the world, including directly from the Philippines. Funds will support our travel, and support the organizing work of Bayan, a global alliance of progressive Filipino organizations.
