Description
Spare Parts is hosting an OPEN DONATION DAY for arts and crafts, supplies, tools, materials on June 1, 2024, at the San Antonio Garden Center! If you would like to make a donation, large or small, please RSVP! Our amazing receiving team will then sort donations and prepare for the MEGA PAY-WHAT-YOU-CAN SALE (June 2nd).
ITEMS WE ARE ACCEPTING:
- Art supplies: Paints, canvas, brushes, polymer clay, pastels, watercolor, printmaking supplies, photography equipment
- Office supplies: Pens, markers, pencils, folders, notebooks, paper clips, binder clips, poster board, sticky notes
- Fiber arts materials: Fabric, sewing notions, buttons, sewing machines, yarn, crochet hooks, knitting needles, embroidery floss, cross stitch, needlepoint
- Books and Paper Crafts: How-to and about the artist books, Stamps, Scrapbooking paper, scrapbooking binders
- Jewelry and beads: Fashion jewelry, beads, jewelry making tools and supplies
Please help us by pre-sorting your donation. We will not accept "junk drawer" boxes of items. Please bag or contain small like items together such as buttons and beads. We will only have a couple of hours to go through and sort items into different departments at the garden center.
ITEMS WE ARE NOT ACCEPTING AT THIS EVENT:
- Magazines
- GLASS JARS, Glass vases, glass sheets, glass frames
- GLITTER or CONFETTI even if contained.
- Any aerosols, flammable liquids, hazardous materials
- Styrofoam
- Party supplies or holiday decor items
- Delicate, vintage, or fragile trinkets
- Kids toys
- Clothing
- Kitchen tools and appliances

Please select one of the five time slots to RSVP. You will receive a friendly reminder about the event date/time and location. We ask that you show up during your given time slot so that we can ensure a smooth and speedy donation process.
Spare Parts is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Receipts are provided upon request.
