Join William “Bill” Frazier's presentation as he reflects on 50 years of revitalization in the city of Staunton from 1975 to 2025.  Bill is a co-founder of Frazier Associates, an architectural firm specializing in urban planning and design guidelines across the southeastern United States. With more than 45 years of experience, Bill has combined his expertise in historic preservation with a deep commitment to community revitalization. He is a frequent speaker at planning and preservation conferences, and his work has received numerous state and national awards for excellence.

Bill holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, as well as a Master’s degree in Planning and Architectural History—all from the University of Virginia. He served as the first executive director of the Historic Staunton Foundation and later as director of the Western Regional Office of the National Trust for Historic Preservation in San Francisco. In recognition of his contributions, he was inducted into the College of Fellows of the American Institute of Certified Planners and honored by a joint resolution of the Virginia General Assembly in 2016 for his significant work in historic preservation.
