Orphan Girl Community Theatre and the Montana Independent Living Project has teamed up to produce the new production Speaking Our Truth: Storytelling Through a Disability Lens. Based on the lives of the storytellers in the cast, the narrative will take us through the highs, lows, triumphs and joys of not only living, but thriving with a disability. 

Speaking Our Truth: Storytelling through a Disability Lens will have a limited run at the Belmont Senior Citizen Center April 28th and 29th at 7 pm. Tickets are $10 each and can be purchased at www.orphangirl.org or by call 406-782-5657. Tickets will not be available at the Belmont Senior Citizen Center outside of the performance dates.

Speaking Our Truth is directed by Jackie Vetter, and is facilitated by Play Development Liaison Elizabeth Crase, as well as mILp staff Cassie Wick, Kendra Brown, with support fromTodd Hoar (Director of SBDDC - Silver Bow DD Council). 

The storytellers are Ashley VanHorne, Barb Knapke, Chandra Calder, Kristine Merrick, Matt Patrick, Maria Stout, Natalie Munden, Nicole Weitzman,, Heather Raymond and Giavanna Luciano. The narratives are written by Montana playwrights Bryon Higgins, Baylee England, Emily Rasmuss, Bernadette Powers, Stacy Ballard, Greg Younger, Dani Clark and Frankee Angel. 

Belmont Senior Citizen Center is located at 615 W. Mercury St.. The venue is fully accessible and this production will also be ASL interpreted.
