Get ready for your close-up! On Saturday, September 13th from 11:30 am - 4 pm, we will be kicking off our Spirit of Kwanzaa production season with our SOK Cast Onboarding! During your age group's session, you will receive your personalized cast packet, take your cast headshot, complete measurements for costuming and complete any other logistics to get ready for rehearsals starting Sept. 20th. Please see the breakdown below:

 

Itinerary

  • 11:30 am - 12:30 pm: Ages <12
  • 1 pm - 2 pm: Ages 13 - 17
  • 2:30 pm - 3:30 pm: Ages 18<

Headshots | What to Wear

  • Attire:
    • Femme-presenting: Flesh-tone leotard and biker shorts
    • Masc-presenting: Black tank top (but please prepare to be shirtless) and biker shorts
  • Hairstyle: Clean, pulled away from the face, and not hanging on the neck (afro-centric styles, bun, Bantu knots, twist/braids bun, etc.)
  • Makeup: Natural beat (accentuating your natural features)
  • Accessories: Hair candy and small ear jewelry
