Located in the heart of downtown Gainesville, the Matheson History Museum is home to the Historic Matheson House, permanent and temporary exhibits on Alachua County and Florida history, and a local history library and archives filled with resources for the researcher and the curious alike. Throughout the year we host a variety of programs on local and Florida history. We invite you to join us!
Description
Join us for an unforgettable night where history meets paranormal mystery at the Matheson Museum and historic Matheson House!
Step into the shadows and let an expert paranormal investigator guide you through our historic spaces and grounds, sharing spine-tingling stories and using real ghost-hunting techniques and equipment. Your adventure includes light bites and drinks, a curator talk about the museum history, and music by Jordan A. Key. Mingle with fellow curious minds and explore our haunted exclusive spaces after dark!
This event is for ages 13 and up. Exclusive tickets are limited to 13 guests. Tickets are $85 and include light bites, drinks, a curator talk, and the paranormal investigation. You can add on a tarot card reading for $10.
Your ticket supports the much-needed rehabilitation of the Matheson House—ensuring that the spirits of history live on for generations to come.
Whether you’re a believer, a skeptic, or just in it for the thrill, this is a night you won’t forget!
