Join acclaimed designer and West End resident Sarah Lawrence for an engaging 3-mile journey along the scenic Atlanta BeltLine. Experience the captivating contrast of a serene urban oasis alongside bustling streets as we explore the paved paths and delve into the enchanting, wild corridors of the unpaved trail.
We'll kick off our adventure at Lee & White, where you can enjoy a delicious coffee or a refreshing beer before we set out on a 1.5-mile stroll to the vibrant splatter tunnel in West End.
Along the way, you'll immerse yourself in the vivid stories behind the stunning murals, learn to identify unique local plants, and uncover the rich history of Westview and West End.
As we make our way back, we’ll take a different route, ensuring you discover even more hidden gems and sights in this dynamic area. Don't miss this opportunity to connect with nature, art, and community!
About the Walk Leader
Sarah Lawrence is a designer, illustrator, and creative technologist living in Atlanta, Georgia. With her work spanning complex regional planning to branding new nonprofit initiatives, she has a knack for solving tough, design-driven problems. She's been featured in Fast Company, Quipsologies, 99U, and HLN – just to name a few! Sarah facilitates classes for organizations like TEDx, DesignMadison, and MODA too. She's a proud mother to an exceptionally good girl named Cocoa, who keeps her company at her desk, and many plants.
About Jane’s Walk
Jane’s Walk is an annual global festival honoring the legacy of urbanist, activist, and writer Jane Jacobs with free, citizen-led walking tours through the neighborhoods that lend so much character to our cities.
The festival promotes civic engagement and encourages leaders and participants to share stories about their communities and use walking as a means of connecting with their neighbors.

- Begin: Wild Heaven West End, 1010 White St SW, Atlanta, GA 30310. Meet by the wayfinding sign on the corner. You can park at Lee + White, walk from the West End MARTA station, or connect to Lee + White from the BeltLine. Of course, you can also rideshare!
