Mestre Didi: Spiritual Form | March 13 - July 13, 2025
Mestre Didi: Spiritual Form is a landmark monographic exhibition exploring the work of the late Afro-Brazilian sculptor, writer, cultural advocate and spiritual leader Mestre Didi (Salvador, Bahia, 1917-2013). As the first major U.S. museum exhibition of Didi’s work in 25 years, the survey unites over 30 of his sculptures and offers a rare view of his far-reaching spiritual and artistic legacy.

GENERAL INFORMATION
Hours: El Museo del Barrio’s galleries are open Thursdays through Sundays from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM
No Vaccination Requirement: Proof of vaccination is not required to access the museum.
Timed Tickets: We recommend purchasing tickets online in advance. Same day timed
tickets will be available for purchase on a first-come, first-served basis
Community Partners: If you are part of a local or family organization partnering with El Museo, such as Cool Culture, please refer to the email you received from us for your assigned discount code. Enter this code when reserving your ticket. For assistance, email emdbtickets@elmuseo.org.
Coat Check is available during museum hours
EL MUSEO DEL BARRIO MEMBERS
El Museo individual and corporate members enjoy free admission. Current members will receive an email from our membership office with a discount code to be entered when reserving tickets. Walk-ins without timed ticket tickets will be granted admission based on availability.
