Taylor Campbell Band
Set time: 6:00 PM
The Taylor Campbell Band is a San Antonio, Texas–based group known for original, gritty Americana rooted in songwriting and live performance. Their sets move comfortably between train songs, personal narratives, and straight-ahead rockers, all delivered with a consistent sound and identity.
Frontman Taylor Campbell was raised in the foothills of the Carolina mountains by parents from East Tennessee and West Texas. His early exposure to Appalachian and Texas traditions shaped a writing style centered on place, memory, and working-class stories. After spending time playing in a range of bands and styles in Atlanta, Taylor returned to the music that felt most natural to him, songs inspired by family, history, and everyday life.
Born Nathan Taylor Godbee, he named the band in honor of his grandfather, Taylor Campbell, who played guitar in gospel and honky-tonk groups across Tennessee during the 1950s and 1960s and performed alongside artists such as Flatt and Scruggs on the Grand Ole Opry. The band carries that lineage forward through original material that blends American roots and rock with a grounded, lived-in feel.
The Taylor Campbell Band brings a focused, song-driven performance that fits a listening-forward room and rewards audiences who value substance, continuity, and craft.
