Spring Whiskey Seminar - Baltimore Rye
Join us at Old Line for an intimate dive into Baltimore's flourishing rye whiskey scene. Baltimore Spirits Company and Sagamore Spirit have received national acclaim and won numerous awards for their Maryland-style rye whiskies - and now Old Line is joining them with its newest release, 51 Rye. Whether you're a whiskey connoisseur, a rye enthusiast, or a curious beginner, our Whiskey Seminar offers a unique experience for all attendees. Expect an engaging and interactive session filled with fascinating facts, tasting tips, and of course, premium rye samples.
The seminar kicks off at 7pm with a brief history of rye whiskey and Maryland's outsized roll in the category by Max Lentz, co-founder of Baltimore Spirits Company. Each distillery will take participants on a journey through their distillery's history, how it makes its spirits, and ending with a guided tasting of two of its rye whiskeys.
Afterwards, relax at the cash bar with rye Manhattans made with rye's from each distillery.
Catered food is provided in the ticket price.
***Members of Old Line's Quarterdeck Whiskey Club can early purchase and take home a bottle of 51 Rye Whiskey at the seminar and before the 13 April public release date***
