Description

Taffety Punk's Generator project exists to give our company members the time and space they need to dream, workshop, and create new works. Generator number 26 is a new play by Kelsey Mesa (author of the award-winning La Salpêtrière.

During the Nazi occupation of the Netherlands, the Oversteegen sisters joined the Dutch Resistance at 16 and 14 years old. Truus and Freddie Oversteegen became spies, saboteurs, and assassins. Their staggering story of bravery against impossible odds inspires all who hear it.

Taffety Punk has been workshopping this play with our company members for half a year, and we invite you to join us on this next important step to hear it aloud. Additionally, we've invited designers to work with us and let he story inspire conceptual designs for set, lights, costumes, and sound.

Directed by Lise Bruneau.
