Description

Interested in stand up paddleboarding but not sure where to start? We've got you covered.

 

This 2-hour class is hosted by Founder and Owner Heidi of Anchored Soul - this area's premier stand up paddle boarding company located in Belmont, NC and the surrounding area. Heidi will teach you proper equipment use, paddle boarding techniques, self-rescue, and basic knowledge about paddleboarding in this region.

 

This class is hosted on the South Fork River from the South Fork McAdenville Greenway and Blueway Launch. You are welcome to rent equipment from Anchored Soul or bring your own.  If you need a life vest, Anchored Soul will provide a Coast Guard Approved PFD Inflatable Life Belts.

Restrictions:

  • Participants must be 4 years of age with an adult on the same board or 8 years of age to be alone on a board. 
  • Must be 18 years of age to purchase tickets
  • Deadline to Purchase Tickets - You must purchase tickets at 10pm on Thursday before the Saturday class. Heidi will accept walk-ups, but you must be on-site 30 minutes before the scheduled start time. 

 

Weather Policy:

Our policy is to host this program rain or shine EXCEPT in the case of severe rain, thunderstorms or lightning in the area as well as dangerous water level. If we have to cancel an event due to weather, we will provide a refund to all ticketed guests. We will do our best to notify guests of cancellations at least 2 hours in advance.

 

Refund Policy:

You may cancel your ticket up to 24 hours before your scheduled date. If we must cancel due to weather or water level, your ticket will be fully refunded within 48 hours after your scheduled date and time.
